Connecting an AliExpress product is a very simple and direct processe. You do not need any complicated API Keys, secret codes, or developer accounts. The only thing you need is the website link (the URL) for the product you want to get reviews from.

Imagine you have a dropshipping or affiliate e-commerce store. You've written a great description for a product, but you have no customer reviews on your site, which can make new buyers hesitant.

This feature lets you go to the original product page on AliExpress, copy its URL, and paste it into WP Social Ninja. The plugin will then fetch all the customer reviews—including 5-star ratings and real customer photos—from that AliExpress page and display them beautifully on your product page.

How to Connect an AliExpress Product

Follow these simple steps to get your product connected in less than a minute.

Step 1: Go to the "Platforms" Menu

First, please log in to your WordPress dashboard.

On the main menu on the left-hand side, find the WP Social Ninja. Click on it, and then select the Platforms. This will take you to the central hub where you can connect all your social media and review accounts.

Step 2: Open the AliExpress Connection Window

Find the AliExpress row. On the right side of that row, click the Settings icon button.

Step 3: Find the "Product URL" Field

A pop-up window will appear on your screen with the title "Connect Your AliExpress Account."

Inside this pop-up, you will see fields labeled Add you Product ID here and Add your Product Name here. This is the spot where you will paste the link to your AliExpress product.

Step 4: Find and Copy Your AliExpress Product URL

This is the only piece of information you need to find, and it's very easy.

1. Go to the AliExpress.com website.
2. Use the search bar on AliExpress to find the exact product you want to get reviews from.
3. Click on the product to go to its main details page.
4. Once the page has fully loaded, go to the address bar at the very top of your browser. Click inside it to select the entire website address (the URL).
5. And Copy the Product Name.
6. The URL should look something like this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1234567890.html

Step 5: Connect Your Product in WP Social Ninja

Now, go back to your WordPress dashboard browser tab (where the pop-up is still open from Step 3).

1. Paste the Product Name into the "Product Name" field.
2. Paste the full URL you just copied from AliExpress into the “Product ID” field.
3. Click the Save button.

Step 6: You're Connected!

The pop-up window will close, and the page will refresh.

You will be returned to the main Platforms page. You will now see that the AliExpress row has a green "Connected" status and lists the product you just added. This confirms that WP Social Ninja can now communicate with that product page to fetch its reviews.
